Obituary for Michelle Brosius
Michelle Brosius passed away surrounded by the love of her family. She will b e remembered for
her resilience, her generous heart, and the deep love she had for those closest to her.
Michelle was born in Tacoma, Washington, and later moved to California with her parents. As a
young adult, she attended Job Corps, where she earned her GED-an accomplishment she
was proud of and that reflected her determination to keep moving forward in life.
Michelle lived a unique and adventurous life, spending much of her adulthood traveling with the
carnival. In time, she found a place t o call home i n Coalinga, California, where she built lasting
connections and memories.
She was a devoted mother to three children and a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren.
Family was at the center of Michelle's life. She created a home that was always open t o those i n
need, offering love, support, and stability. She welcomed her child and grandchildren during a
time of hardship, and later did the same for her daughter, son-in-law, and their children. Her
kindness and generosity left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Michelle found joy i n life's simple pleasures. She loved crocheting, reading, working o n diamond
dot projects, and studying the Bible. She also enjoyed musicals and science fiction shows,
finding comfort and happiness i n stories that sparked her imagination.
She will be fondly remembered for the little things that made her special—like filling every
birthday and holiday card with confetti, bringing laughter and surprise to those who opened
them. She created joyful memories for her children, including teaching them how to do
cartwheels on the way t o school, turning ordinary moments into something unforgettable.
Michelle faced challenges in her life, including struggles with mental health, but she continued
working toward healing with the support of her family, friends, and faith. Her strength and
perseverance were evident t o those who loved her.
Michelle Brosius will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, extended family, and
friends. Her love, her spirit, and the memories she created will live o n i n all who knew her.
A service to honor Michelle's life will be held at Pleasant Valley Christian Center in Coalinga,
California, on April 24, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
